Paint.NET is a tool that allows you to manipulate with your images and photos with ease.
Why should you give Paint.NET a try?
To begin with, the utility comes with a simple and user-friendly interface so that users with all levels of experience with similar apps can get a grasp of it in no time. However, before you install the software, you need to ensure that there is a recent version of the .NET Framework installed on your computer.
There are two modes of installation, which are Quick and Custom. In case you are a beginner, then you need to choose the first one while more experienced users can select the latter.
There are many buttons that the software comes with. Some of them carry out basic functions while others are dedicated to more advanced functions.
It needs to be mentioned that all actions can be completed by pressing dedicated hotkeys.
There are also additional adjustments and effects that you can apply to your project: layer editing, invert colors, posterize, image sketch, blur or sharpen, distort, emboss or even fractals.
The utility is lightweight so that it does not overload your system.
- Simple to use.
- Well-organized interface.
- Special effects included.
- 3D Rotate/Zoom effects.
- Image manipulation tools.
To sum everything up, it is safe to say that Paint.NET is a useful utility that allows you to manipulate with your images and photos simply and efficiently.
What's new in 4.2.7 version?
- Fixed a crash at startup (FileLoadException) due to 1) the stub for System.Runtime.dll not being updated, and 2) the rigid version binding policy that prevented the older version from working in its stead (which would've been fine in this case).
